Belt Promotions!

It's time again!  As you may already know, every two to three months we offer a belt promotion.  This event is like a recital.  It is offered so that you can see your child progress. 

There are 3 things that each of the children have to do in order to earn a belt.  They are:  1.  Prove they can perform what they have learned, 2. Prove they know the 'Life Skills', 3. Sit correctly while others are being tested (demonstration of self control and respect for others).  If a child gets 3 warnings, they are not allowed to earn the belt the day of the test.  They can still earn the belt at a  later class once they demonstrate the behavior or life skills that are required.

 If your child misses the test for any reason, he/she can test the following week in class.

Heritage Montessori Academy 2:45 (all kids will be tested together.  Mrs. Wilkinson will run the belt promotions)

I normally run all of the belt promotions for ToT Kwon Do, but sometimes schedules don't work out and I cannot be there personally.  My wife Robin is a 3rd degree black belt and sometimes covers for me when it is not possible for me to attend. Thanks for everyone's patience, and good luck!
